Dr. Eloy Vivas Vargas
Doctor in Medicine and Surgery
Dr. Eloy Vivas Vargas started studying medicine at the University of Granada in 1999 where he graduated with a Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2005.
He started the intensive MIR Asturias course for resident interns, between July 2005 and January 2006.
Through MIR, he became a specialist doing his internship in the Hospital Carlos Haya in Malaga from 2006 to 2011.
During his fourth year, he carried out part of the internship at the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona under the guidance of Dr. Antonio Alcaraz.
He currently shares his work between various hospital centres, predominantly working as specialist in Urology at the Hospital in La Linea since November 2011 to the present day.
He holds the qualification FEBU (Fellow of the European Board of Urology). This is a recognised exam of great prestige in Europe and is a guarantee of excellence. Prague-Brussels July 2011.
He holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery presenting the paper: controlled and randomised study of the effectiveness of double J catheter placement in the ureterovesical anastamosis of kidney transplants.
He obtained the title of “Doctor of the University of Malaga” awarded on 14 June, 2013, with Cum Laude distinction unanimously awarded by the panel.
He is responsible for prostatic oncological surgery and surgery to treat female incontinence at the Hospital in La Linea.
He is a member of the Andalusian Urology Association (AAU in Spanish) and of the European Association of Urology (EAU).
